I don't have my copy handy, but I believe the text on the card says something like "before you take a die from the source, you may re-roll two of them"... So it can be read a couple of ways.
Once per turn, before you use mana from the Source, you may reroll up to two mana dice in the Source. When choosing dice to reroll, you must pick gold (depleted) dice first, if there are any.
How can it be read two different ways? If you have used mana from the Source that turn, then you can't use Mana Search any more.
Oh, I see. You're reading it as something like, "you can use Mana Search any time during your turn that you are just about to use mana from the Source." But it wouldn't make much sense to require you to use mana immediately after rolling, because, for all you know, you might not even roll something that allows you to use mana.
I understand the confusion now. But I'm confident in the former interpretation. You can use it any time during your turn, as long as you haven't yet used mana from the Source on that turn.
Lol... Your answer made no sense to me... Save for the part where you insist that your interpretation is correct despite there clearly being some ambiguity WRT Mana Search.
I'm not sure which interpretation is correct but I'm interested to see what Paul or Vlaada has to say.
