One quick question : Can I discard a Wound card with Improvisation? It only states 'Discard a card', so I guess yes... Thanks!
No. Wounds don't qualify as "cards", except for effects that specifically mention wounds.
That's a misinterpretation that has led some players to misunderstand other rules. Wounds are always cards. It is only in the context of discarding or throwing away cards, as specified in the rule that Klaude cited above, that "any card" does not refer to Wounds.
To be exact: Game Walkthrough, page 4, under "Wound cards":
Terminology note:
Whenever any text refers to an “Action” card, it is referring to both
Basic and Advanced Action cards.
Whenever any text refers to “any” or “a” card, it is referring to
Action, Spell or Artifact cards, but never a Wound card unless
stated explicitly. Thus, the term “discard a card” means discard
any Deed card except for a Wound card.
