I know that there are more nuances to the wound/non-wound divide than what I stated. My assessment was that the question asker did not need to know about these details, rather they needed to know about the sentence they missed in the walkthrough. You can debate that, but I'm not misinterpreting or even simplifying anything - I was paraphrasing the instructions for learning the game.
Given that it's the Rules FAQ thread, I think it's a generally good principle to value precision in how rules are being recounted here. That exact "Wounds aren't cards" paraphrase has led people to come up with some faulty conclusions, about, for example, whether hand sizeincludes Wounds.
Better to kill two frequently asked questions with one good answer.
