by ira212 To elaborate, Maximal Effect looks at the card text of the chosen card. It says play the stronger version twice, so you can't play the target cars sideways.

by pabula That would be 8. It's like playing 2 Crushing Bolts. The first one has its effect increased and the second is normal. And, what's important - it's all treated as a single card effect.
